Ubisoft, the renowned video game developer, has announced its upcoming release of Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, the company’s first game leveraging web3 technologies.
Set to officially launch on October 23, 2024, the game will operate on the Oasys Layer 2 network, HOME Verse, marking a significant milestone for Ubisoft in the web3 gaming world.
Nearly a year after the initial announcement at IVS Kyoto, Ubisoft is ready to introduce this innovative game to players worldwide.
In partnership with Oasys and double jump.tokyo, Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles presents a tactical RPG experience, where players engage their teams of mythical Champions in intense PvP battles, all set within the dark and mysterious world of Grimoria.

At the core of Champions Tactics is a collection of 75,000 unique digital Champions, each with distinct traits and abilities, serving as the backbone of the game’s strategic play.
Players will assemble teams of three Champions to battle opponents in PvP showdowns, utilizing the Champions’ unique abilities to dominate the battlefield.
The game also introduces “The Forge,” a system that allows players to craft new Champions by combining traits and powers from their existing collection, unlocking endless strategic possibilities.
The game’s crafting system adds another layer of customization and player engagement. By blending existing Champions’ powers, players can enhance team dynamics, creating unique combinations and optimizing their performance for competitive play.
